Brands Hatch, UK – The 2021 Legend Trophy campaign of Max Lanza scored another point in UK, where the iconic Brands Hatch racetrack hosted the second round of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series season. In England Max confirmed himself as one of the main protagonist of the Legend Trophy, conquering the pole position, one victory and a second place and ending the race very close to the overall Top10.

In the difficult and amazing Brands Hatch Indy Circuit, Max Lanza has taken a new step towards the 2021 championship, in a weekend affected by the whims of the weather. Rain and sun convulsively took turns, changing continuously the track conditions in few minutes. “Brands Hatch has been a quite difficult weekend, but at the end we gained a first and a second place in the Legend Trophy and solid points for the overall championship. Most important, we ended the Race 1 so close to the overall Top10.” remarked Max Lanza, who wants also to thank the team technicians and mechanics for the incredible effort done between the two Sunday races allowing him to be on the grid with a new engine.  “The CAAL Racing boys did a miracle and I want to dedicate them this result. In the two hours between the PRO and the EuroNASCAR2 race they changed the broken engine, giving me the chance to be ready on grid on perfect time. They has been simply amazing! It was a very positive weekend for the #88: Alon Day conquered  the EuroNASCAR PRO victory on saturday.We are working in the right direction! The biggest thanks goes to all the companies that allowed me to be there racing in UK.”

Next round of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series is scheduled for late summer in Most, in the 28th and 29th of August weekend.
