Rome, Italy – Max Lanza is ready for his third EuroNASCAR PRO season, confirming his presence at the wheel of the #88 Avangarde Group Chevrolet Camaro fielded by CAAL Racing, reigning EuroNASCAR PRO Driver champion. Winner of the 2021 Legend Trophy, the Rome-native driver is one of the veterans of the series, in which he debuted in 2018 and season by seasons has become one of the public’s most loved favourites drivers. The main goal for the season is to be a strong title contender for the Challenger Trophy, title escaped from the hands of the #88 driver in the last two seasons always in the final round.
“Can’t wait to seat back again in my Camaro! Thanks to the results we achieved last season, Avangarde Group decided to increase its presence as my main sponsor throughout the season. I would also like to thank my long-time partners KO2 and Cepi TAAS as well as my newer partner EdiLeo from Milan. They have always believed in our project in EuroNASCAR. With the support of all these partners, I can count on a top-level package at CAAL Racing. I’m ready and I worked hard during the winter to be in control of what happens. This will be my seventh EuroNASCAR season, so I have a lot of experience, but here it’s never enough. I want to keep the momentum from last season, I am hungry to win the Challenger Trophy!” commented Max Lanza. The Italian driver wants to best its score with 55 starts, 2 Top5s, 13 Top10s and an overall fourth as best finish.”I know I have a lot of potential and I want to squeeze every bit of it out. EuroNASCAR races are an awesome show for the fans, we drivers have a lot of fun behind the wheel. It’s a lot more exciting than other categories and you have to fight hard to bring home strong results, but that’s what makes it fun for us drivers. I have so many partners who believe in me, support me and allow me to chase my dreams year after year. I would like to thank all of them – those who have been with us from the beginning and those who have joined us recently. I’m looking forward to racing in Valencia and being on the track in my beautiful #88 car!”
